Job Description

Odoo Specialist

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor from Computer Science/IT/Maths/Physics/Engineering
  2. Proven working experience in web development minimum 3 years.
  3. Have excellent knowledge of relation database concepts, SQL and ORM.
  4. Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
  5. Has Experience in REST API & XML/JSON.
  6. Experience in Django/Node JS is a Plus, Experience with Odoo (or other ERP) is a Plus.
  7. Have experience in handling ERP System.
  8. Must have built at least two modules with Odoo.
  9. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
  10. Working knowledge of the general Odoo landscape and architectures.
  11. Solid understanding of the full web development life cycle, including automated testing and building.
  12. Experience working in an agile development process. Strong knowledge in Linux and GIT.
  13. Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  14. Understanding of the threading limitations of Python and multi process architecture.
  15. Integration and Unit Testing Knowledge. Interest in enterprise application development.
  16. Write clear, maintainable, and testable code

Job Descriptions:

  1. Enhance existing web apps using Odoo with modular approach and clean code.
  2. Solid experience as an Odoo developer.
  3. Work hand-in-hand with the project manager and administrative on developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Odoo.
  4. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  5. Continuously discover, evaluate, enhance existing modules or implement new to maximize development efficiency
  6. Work with vendor / partner, stakeholders, and other engineers to develop and maintain ecommerce website.
  7. Design, develop, and testing, maintain & customize of Odoo modules.
  8. Writing scalable code using Python programming language.
  9. Coordinating with development teams to determine application requirements.
  10. Testing and debugging applications.
  11. Integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic & integrating data storage solutions.
  12. Working with the team to develop ERP/ Business Application.
  13. Analyze and translate customer needs to be an effective technical proposal/design of system development.
  14. Troubleshooting and Debugging of code related issues.
  15. Other development tasks in systems developed in Python other than Odoo.
