Technical Skills:
1. 5+ years experiences as system administration or Linux /Unix engineer.
2. Having working knowledge of operating system Linux / Unix (RedHat, Solaris, AIX, etc), installation, administration and performance monitoring.
3. Having working knowledge of Solaris Hardware, Solaris Zones, LDOM, AIX VIOS, LPM and upgrade/migration related tasks.
4. Having working knowledge of SUN/LINUX/VCS cluster configuration.
5. Having working knowledge of hardening and security setting, patching, vulnerabilities, and related tasks.
6. Having working knowledge of scripting, BASH, shell, etc
7. Understand and willing to adapt with new technology (cloud computing, container, or configuration and automation management).
8. Having a problem-solving attitude, work independently and as part of a team.
9. Having knowledge in SAN, network and security appliances
10. Willing to work in banking industry.
Scope of work:
1. Knowledge of best practice for RedHat, Solaris or AIX platform and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
2. Perform administrative tasks related to install Linux (RedHat) or Unix (Solaris and AIX) servers from scratch, configuration and has good troubleshooting skills.
3. Performance Monitoring for all Linux /Unix servers (OS, CPU, Memory, Network, Disk and Process)
4. Detect, diagnose, report and resolve Linux/Unix server Related hardware and OS problems.
5. Perform all Linux/Unix operating systems patching and ensure the patch to the latest appropriate releases.
6. Perform in hardening and securing of Linux/Unix servers.
7. Understanding of SUN/LINUX/VCS cluster configuration, administration, troubleshooting and managing high availability of cluster environment.
8. Experience and knowledge with installing and implementing Solaris Hardware, Solaris Zones, LDOM, AIX VIOS, LPM and upgrade/migration related tasks
9. Working experience with SAN environment is good to have.
10. Having knowledge with automation/configuration management using CHEF, puppet, ansible, etc.
11. Working experience in scripting, Bash, shell, etc
12. Support testing activities with various stakeholders i.e. application teams, external parties
13. Establish and maintain documentation and standards
14. Works as part a team and provide the support when required
